Levi Strauss & Co. and Microsoft Partner to Develop Next-Gen AI Superagent for Enhanced Retail Experience

Levi Strauss & Co. (LS&Co.) is partnering with Microsoft to redefine the future of retail by integrating AI and cloud solutions. The core of this transformation is the development of an Azure-native orchestrator agent, embedded within Microsoft Teams, designed to optimize internal operations and empower employees across corporate, retail, and warehouse settings.
AI-Powered Transformation
The 'superagent' acts as a central hub where employees can pose questions. This single conversational interface connects to multiple subagents, streamlining access to information and support.

Broader Technology Adoption
LS&Co. is also adopting Microsoft Surface Copilot+ PCs, running Windows 11, to manage complex workloads, improving speed and reliability. The Microsoft Intune helps IT team with device onboarding and application deployment. GitHub Copilot enables key innovation projects related to observability, release management and quality engineering.
Cloud Infrastructure
LS&Co. leverages Microsoft Azure for application workload migration from on-premises data centers. Using the Azure Migrate and GitHub Copilot, LS&Co. is consolidating its data center environment in the cloud.
