OpenAI's Atlas Browser: Cynicism Masquerading as Software?

OpenAI recently launched Atlas, a web browser featuring built-in ChatGPT and agent functionalities designed to browse, provide answers, and automate tasks.
Mat Honan of *The Debrief* spent several days testing Atlas, using it for regular browsing and experimenting with its ChatGPT functions and agentic capabilities. His assessment? Atlas is merely 'fine' and ultimately 'pointless' for most users. Honan goes as far to say that Atlas seems to be little more than cynicism masquerading as software.
