CFCC Announces AI Program

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) is set to introduce a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) program this fall. According to CFCC, the program aims to equip students for careers involving artificial intelligence and machine learning, with a focus on practical AI applications.
The curriculum will cover data analysis, natural language processing, computer vision, and ethical aspects of AI development.
CFCC President Jim Morton stated, “We are excited to offer a new program that meets the evolving needs of our workforce and provides students with relevant, future-forward skills.” He added, “Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming every industry, from healthcare to finance to manufacturing, and CFCC is preparing students to thrive in this dynamic environment.”
