Comboni Sisters: A New Generation Trained in Human Rights and AI

In a rapidly evolving world, a new generation of Comboni Sisters is emerging, equipped with training in human rights and artificial intelligence to tackle modern challenges. Six young women from Africa and South America are undergoing this transformative journey at the International Novitiate in Brescia, Italy, focusing on social justice and cutting-edge technology.

A Modern Missionary Calling

The training at the International Novitiate in Brescia is designed to prepare these women for a modern missionary calling. Sister Azezet Kidane, one of the mentors, emphasizes the importance of community and collaboration. "Our motto is: let’s hold each other’s hand - alone we can do nothing," she says, highlighting the resilience and unity that drive their mission.

The novices are not only studying advanced topics but also engaging in practical activities that strengthen their sense of community.
