In today's competitive landscape, companies seek efficient growth strategies. Finnish fintech firm Draivi demonstrates how to achieve remarkable revenue per employee using data and artificial intelligence.

Finding the Right Customers

Draivi, specializing in performance marketing within the fintech sector, faced a specific challenge. Not every potential customer seeking financial products qualifies for them.

To address this, Draivi focused on identifying and attracting the most suitable customers at the optimal time. This required a fundamental shift in their data strategy.

Data-Driven System

Draivi transformed its approach by building a data-centric system powered by AI. This platform analyzes customer behavior to predict long-term value.

The core principle involves marketers measuring the actual lifetime value of each customer. This meaningful data is fed back into tools like Google Ads, enhancing its ability to find valuable prospects.

Leveraging Performance Max

Draivi integrated existing and predictive customer lifetime data into Google's Performance Max campaigns. This AI-driven tool serves ads across Google's advertising channels.

This shift allowed Draivi to move away from manually adjusting ads. The AI-powered tool automatically identifies individuals similar to their most valuable customers.

Expanding Reach with Broad Match

To further expand their reach, Draivi incorporated broad match targeting. This enabled them to discover new, high-value searches they might have missed otherwise.

For example, the system connected with users exploring options for overseas property financing or seeking early access to tax refunds.

Global Expansion and Impressive Results

After success in Finland, Draivi expanded its approach to international markets. Germany and Spain now outperform even Finland.

This strategy led to reaching over €1 million in revenue per employee. In 2022, Draivi's 10 employees generated €9.3 million in revenue.

By 2023, with 13 employees, revenue jumped to €17 million. Last year, 18 employees generated €20 million, and this year, with approximately 28 employees, they anticipate €30 million.

AI-Driven Culture

AI has become integral to Draivi's culture, enabling access to creative resources, content generation, and automation. The company is exploring new AI features to enhance creative output.

Draivi plans to strengthen its presence in high-growth markets like Germany and Spain. They are also investing in data capabilities to refine their marketing data platform.
