Kering Eyewear and Google have partnered to develop smart glasses that will utilize Android XR, an AI-powered operating system for headsets and glasses.
According to the companies, the smart eyewear will integrate into daily life with AI-driven functions, allowing users to interact with their environment.
Kering Eyewear's founder, president, and CEO, Roberto Vedovotto, stated the company is partnering with Google to explore future development and is creating a product that combines stylish glasses with AI.
Shahram Izadi, general manager and vice president of XR at Google, said that integrating the XR platform with Kering Eyewear’s glasses will give consumers both fashion and function.
