Microsoft states its artificial intelligence-based medical tool is reportedly four times more effective than doctors in diagnosing difficult illnesses. The company is releasing research it believes could accelerate treatment.
The “Microsoft AI Diagnostic Orchestrator” is the first project from an AI health unit created last year by Mustafa Suleyman. The unit's staff was recruited from DeepMind, the research lab he co-founded that is now owned by Google.
