Samsung R&D Institute, Noida (SRI-Noida) hosted its third Startup Summit. The event showcased technologies, fostered collaborations, and sparked innovation conversations. The summit focused on advancements in healthcare, language models, audio deepfake detection, and extended reality (XR). It highlighted the need for ethical AI, digital trust, and next-generation innovation through collaboration.
The Summit demonstrated Samsung’s commitment to strengthening India’s innovation ecosystem through technology partnerships, collaboration, and talent acceleration. This year’s event included Sarvam AI, Jivi AI, HealthifyMe, ValidSoft, KOGO AI, NeoDocs, EnableX and Magnimus. These startups displayed products and explored collaborations with Samsung’s R&D centers, business units, and Samsung Ventures. Startups were selected based on innovation potential, alignment with Samsung’s vision, and capacity to scale.
SRI-Noida's Mission
Kyungyun Roo, Managing Director of SRI-Noida, stated that the Summit underscores their mission to empower technology leaders through upskilling, collaboration, and ecosystem engagement. Roo said that this year’s edition was more impact-driven, addressing challenges and enabling entrepreneurs to create solutions.
Panel Discussions
The event included a panel discussion with startup founders and SRI-Noida leadership, which explored AI agents, personalized engagement in digital health platforms, and data governance. Panelists emphasized ethical AI deployment and the role of trust in user adoption. Discussions reinforced the importance of user experiences and feedback in improving health outcomes.
