Samsung Unveils AI-Powered Audio Ecosystem Ahead of CES 2026

Samsung Electronics has unveiled its latest audio innovations ahead of CES 2026, introducing a range of AI-powered speakers and soundbars designed to redefine home audio. The new lineup, which includes the Music Studio 7 and Music Studio 5 speakers, as well as the HW-Q990H and HW-QS90H soundbars, is engineered to deliver immersive sound experiences across various living spaces, blending cutting-edge technology with elegant design.

The standout feature of Samsung’s new audio devices is their integration of AI-powered audio tuning, which automatically adapts sound performance to the specific characteristics of a room. This technology, developed at Samsung’s California Audio Lab, ensures optimal audio quality regardless of the environment, whether it’s a spacious living room or a compact apartment.

The Music Studio series, designed in collaboration with French designer Erwan Bouroullec, combines aesthetic appeal with high-fidelity sound. The speakers feature a distinctive concave dot at their center, inspired by the design language of Samsung’s Serif lifestyle TV. This design is intended to complement a wide range of interior styles, from minimalist to expressive, making the speakers as much a piece of functional art as they are audio devices.

Expanding the Sound Ecosystem

Samsung’s 2026 audio lineup represents a shift towards a more connected and adaptable sound ecosystem. The Q-Symphony technology, which allows seamless integration between TV speakers and soundbars, has been upgraded to support simultaneous connection of up to five sound devices. This expansion enables users to create a cohesive, room-filling audio experience throughout their entire home, controlled intuitively through the SmartThings app.

The HW-Q990H soundbar, the flagship of the new lineup, features an 11.1.4-channel setup with rear speakers and dual active subwoofers, delivering a home theater experience without the complexity of traditional multi-speaker systems. Meanwhile, the HW-QS90H soundbar offers an all-in-one solution with deep bass performance, eliminating the need for a separate subwoofer.

Both the Music Studio speakers and the soundbars support high-resolution audio up to 24-bit and 96kHz, ensuring crystal-clear sound reproduction. The devices also incorporate advanced features like Sound Elevation, which lifts dialogue to the center of the screen, and Auto Volume, which maintains consistent sound levels across different content types.

The Future of Home Audio

Samsung’s focus on AI-driven audio solutions underscores a broader industry trend toward smarter, more integrated home entertainment systems. By combining AI, design, and performance, Samsung aims to make sound a natural and seamless part of everyday living, rather than a standalone gadget. This approach not only enhances the user experience but also positions Samsung at the forefront of the rapidly evolving home audio market.

As CES 2026 approaches, Samsung’s new audio lineup sets a high bar for innovation in the industry. With its blend of high-performance audio, refined design, and AI-powered adaptability, the company is poised to reshape how consumers experience sound in their homes.
