Sony India has introduced the BRAVIA 8 II series, which features QD-OLED technology and the AI Processor XR for picture and sound quality. This series is designed for the modern viewer, providing blacks, shadow details and dynamic contrast, with enhanced sound from Acoustic Surface Audio+ and Dolby Vision Atmos and Studio Calibrated modes. The BRAVIA 8 II series is powered by an XR Processor™ with AI technology, delivering lifelike visuals and immersive sound.
The new BRAVIA 8 II series will come in 164 cm (65) and 139 cm (55) screen sizes.
Picture Quality
The XR Processor in the BRAVIA 8 II series includes an AI scene recognition system that analyses data and optimizes the picture. The BRAVIA 8 II series is equipped with Studio Calibrated Mode, which reproduces image quality intended by film content creators. There is also a new Prime Video Calibrated Mode, in addition to Netflix Adaptive Calibrated Mode and Sony Pictures Core Calibrated Mode. With Prime Video Calibrated Mode, viewers can enjoy picture quality automatically calibrated across movies, series, and live sports. The BRAVIA 8 II series is IMAX enhanced and supports Dolby Vision® and Dolby Atmos®.
OLED technology in the BRAVIA 8 II series delivers picture quality with blacks, accurate shadow details, and contrast. The QD-OLED screen controls 8 million self-illuminating pixels. The contrast ratio enhances every scene, making images dynamic and lifelike.
BRAVIA 8 II has a high luminance panel and temperature sensor which helps XR Contrast Booster 25 controls light for brighter pure black pictures giving a dynamic contrast that brings scenes to life. The QD-OLED panel keeps colours consistent ensuring consistent picture quality from any seat in the room.
XR Triluminos Max in the BRAVIA 8 II series reproduces over a billion colours, capturing differences in saturation and hue. It uses a database of textures to upscale content to near 4K quality.
Audio Features
The BRAVIA 8 II series supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Dolby Vision provides visuals with contrast, while Dolby Atmos delivers spatial sound with audio technology. Acoustic Surface Audio+ turns the entire screen into a speaker using actuators behind the screen to create vibrations. This aligns sound with the picture, enhanced by cinematic bass from subwoofers.

The BRAVIA 8 II Series features Sony Pictures Core, which provides access to Sony Pictures movies, including 4K HDR and IMAX enhanced movies. For 24 months, users receive credits to stream movies in 4K Blu-ray quality with IMAX Enhanced visuals. The BRAVIA 8 II series is optimized for gaming and is Perfect for PlayStation 5, featuring Auto HDR Tone Mapping. With 4K/120fps, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), the television gives you movement for gameplay. BRAVIA switches into Game Mode with PS5 to minimize lag. Game Menu elevate your gaming experience by providing seamless access to game status, settings, and assist functions all in one place.
