Vection Technologies Secures $4.4 Million Contract
Sharecafe Vection Technologies (ASX: VR1) has received a repeat order worth $4.4 million from a leading global defence contractor. This order pertains to mission-critical information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure, as well as AI-enabled analytics.
Vection Technologies specializes in real-time technologies, merging the physical and digital realms to help enterprises with digital transformation. Their solution combines secure ICT infrastructure with Vection’s INTEGRATEDXR platform.
Building on Previous Success
This new agreement follows a $1 million proof-of-concept award from March with the same contractor, who suggested a successful pilot could lead to a $30 million tender.
Vection anticipates approximately $3.8 million in revenue from this repeat order during the 2025 financial year, with the remainder expected over the following 12 months.
Agreement with Area12 Consulting
Vection has also entered into a separate $2.6 million agreement with Area12 Consulting to deliver the Safe-XR safety compliance platform for an industrial client in Italy. The platform will use Vection’s Algho AI software for real-time voice interaction, regulation parsing, and contextual support through smart glasses. These smart glasses will enable hands-free inspections with augmented reality overlays, interactive checklists, and remote expert collaboration.
According to Vection managing director Gianmarco Biagi, these deals will significantly strengthen Vection’s position in AI-driven compliance and industrial automation. He emphasized the Safe-XR platform's potential to transform industrial safety management, making it more intelligent, efficient, and responsive.
