Vuzix Recognized at Augmented World Expo

Vuzix Corporation was recognized as a top finalist for the “Best Headworn Device” at the Augmented World Expo (AWE) Auggie Awards. Following the announcement, shares rose by 13 per cent.

The company will be present at the Augmented World Expo USA 2025 in Santa Clara, California.

XR Today Award

Vuzix has also been named the Winner of Most Innovative XR Product by XR Today in its annual XR Awards.

At AWE, Vuzix will showcase its smart glasses, including the Ultralite Pro, which supports both enterprise and consumer applications. The company will also present its OEM services and white label products, which help customers bring solutions to market faster by removing engineering, design, and manufacturing hurdles.

Paul Travers, President and CEO of Vuzix, said the XR Today award highlights the company’s ability to innovate and deliver measurable results. The XR Awards 2025 highlights achievements in VR, AR, and mixed reality (MR). The Academy of International Extended Reality (AIXR) organizes the annual ceremony.

AI Partnerships and Russell 3000

Vuzix recently secured AI-driven partnerships. One collaboration integrates inventory tracking into Vuzix Blade 2 smart glasses for a logistics firm. Another partnership with Ramblr uses AR to improve maintenance, training, and field service productivity.

Vuzix is scheduled to go live on the Russell 3000. The company also drew social media attention with a post featuring wingsuit pilot Jason Dodunski using the Vuzix Blade 2 to access real-time data while flying.

The stock’s performance suggests a potential “next leg up” as traders and investors bet on Vuzix’s role in the expanding AR and XR markets.
