Google's New 'G' Logo

A decade ago, Google introduced its well-known four-color 'G' to harmonize with its logo's updated appearance. The design changes mirrored how people used Google products across various platforms, apps, and devices. Earlier this year, a more vibrant, four-color gradient 'G' was launched for Google Search. Now, this is becoming the standard 'G' icon for the entire company.

Representing Google's Evolution

The updated 'Google G' now embodies all of Google, including both the brand and the company itself. It visually represents the company's progress in the age of AI. The brighter colors and gradient design, while honoring Google's signature four colors, signify the increase in AI-led innovation and creative drive throughout its technology and products.

This new design was first used in the Gemini spark in June. The update will continue to roll out across additional platforms, products, and services in the coming months.
