Industry Leaders Unite to Fight Fraud

Google is hosting its inaugural EMEA Anti-Scams and Fraud Summit in Dublin, bringing together industry partners, consumer groups, policymakers, and law enforcement officials to discuss online scam prevention.


Google.org is pledging $5M to support anti-scam research, awareness, and training in select European countries. This investment aims to aid organizations that will teach vulnerable communities how to identify and avoid scams.


A collaborative, cross-sector approach is essential to preventing sophisticated, cross-border online scam and fraud networks. The Summit will showcase the use of Google AI within the Global Signals Exchange (GSE). AI helps to more rapidly and accurately detect and disrupt fraudulent activities.
