Qatar's AI Center Partners with India's Universal AI University

The Arab Center for Artificial Intelligence (ACAI) in Qatar has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universal AI University (UAI), an Indian higher education institution that specializes in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. The agreement was signed by Eng. Khalid Abdulrahim Al-Sayed, Chairman of the Board of the Arab Center for Artificial Intelligence, and Tarundeep Singh Anand, President of Universal AI University.


This agreement is designed to accelerate the advancement of AI throughout Qatar and the region and to enhance education, research, and innovation in the field. The MoU establishes a long-term partnership that includes establishing a specialized research center and developing training programs in AI and emerging technologies. These actions are designed to drive innovation and produce impactful global research.


Educational Programs

Online and short-term educational programs will be launched to meet the needs of the Qatari job market for AI professionals. Eventually, an AI-focused university campus and a regional hub for education, research, and technology development will be established, offering academic programs in AI, engineering, business administration, environmental sustainability and emerging technologies.

Commenting on the partnership, Eng.
