Samsung Startup Summit Focuses on Innovation
The Samsung R&D Institute, Noida (SRI-Noida) recently hosted its Startup Summit in Gurugram. The third edition of the event brought together Indian startups to explore innovation and global partnerships.
The summit showcased technologies including artificial intelligence, healthcare, language models, deepfake detection, and extended reality (XR). Eight startups, including Sarvam AI, Jivi AI, and HealthifyMe, presented their solutions and engaged in discussions with Samsung teams and Samsung Ventures.
The summit's goal was to identify collaborations and align with Samsung’s vision of building an innovation-led ecosystem in India.
Ethical AI and Digital Trust
Discussions focused on ethical AI and digital trust in technology. Emphasis was placed on transparent, responsible innovation, with conversations exploring AI agents, personalised engagement in digital health, and data governance.
The ethical deployment of AI is critical for building trust and user adoption, particularly in healthcare.
Startup Innovations
Participating startups each offered approaches to solving problems. Sarvam AI is building a multilingual audio large language model (LLM), while Jivi AI combines LLMs with healthcare services. HealthifyMe presented its AI-powered nutrition platform, and ValidSoft presented a deepfake detection solution.
Other innovations included NeoDocs’ mobile-based diagnostics, EnableX’s facial expression tracking, KOGO AI’s voice-enabled action models, and Magnimus’ gamified XR fitness platform.
These technologies are positioned for both local and global use.
The summit reaffirmed Samsung’s commitment to supporting India’s startup landscape through collaboration and ecosystem engagement. By connecting companies with Samsung teams, the event highlighted SRI-Noida’s role in technology development in the region.
